It serves as the first stage of the final class advancement, where players must defeat the Trainee Soldiers of Balgass before proceeding to Refuge. To help new players complete the quest more easily, NPC Helpers are available throughout the map, allowing even solo players without a party to progress through the quest. Barracks is intended purely for quest progression rather than item farming. |

| No Jewel Drops | Barracks does not drop Jewel of Bless, Jewel of Soul, Jewel of Life, or Jewel of Creation. |
| Condor Flame Removed | Condor Flame has been intentionally removed from the Barracks drop table and relocated to Moss Miracle. This prevents high-level players from disrupting newcomers who are completing their Level 400 Third Class Change Quest. |
| Quest Progression | After completing the required objectives in Barracks, players may proceed to Refuge to defeat the Dark Elf and complete the final stage of the Level 400 Third Class Change Quest. |
